Matt Markham gives his best in all races at Addington Harness on Sunday 19 July.
Without a workout or a trial under the belt, Lexicon (4) was very good fresh up here a couple of weeks ago and should have taken plenty of benefit from that. Looks awfully hard to beat here today with a similar kind of performance and likely to take bad luck out of the equation.

| Run down as fave 1st-up here, 3 July. Likely improvement makes her the one today | |||
He won’t win them in a row, nor will he blast away from his rivals for victory but Harry Belafonte (1) does look a great bet here today. Recent form has been very tidy and finds a pretty winnable race, especially from the ace draw. Just needs to be close enough turning for home.
Selections: 1-3-9-14-7
| 1. Harry Belafonte (1) J: Stephen McNally 62683T: Stephen McNally | |||
| Closed with real purpose last week after being eased off wide draw. Bright hope. | |||
Fresh up from a spell, but hailing from an astute stable the bookmakers haven’t missed Kotare Argent (4). No workouts or trials, but took on some very nice types when last seen over a year ago and wasn’t too far behind them. Looks the class act and if the fitness is there then should really win.
Selections: 4-6-8-5-7
| 4. Kotare Argent (4) J: Sam Thornley 2538xT: Ross Houghton | |||
| Off the scene for a year but showed enough in 5 starts to consider. Market watch | |||
Hasn’t come back so far this campaign as well as most would have thought but here’s a real chance for Coba Charged (1) to get back in the winning groove. Needs to ping and land close to the speed but will have all the necessary there to pounce if given the opportunity.
Selections: 1-5-8-10-2
| 1. Coba Charged (1) J: Sheree Tomlinson px587T: Jeremy Pearson | |||
| Worked overtime after missing away, 3 July. Big respect back in ratings today. | |||
Super effort here in the Silk Road final by Sugar Babe (4) – a very nice return to form. She can build on that here in what is a pretty even looking line up and might even look to take bad luck out of play and try and dominate this from the top end. Hard to beat with her own terms.
Selections: 4-3-7-9-1
| 4. Sugar Babe (4) J: Carter Dalgety 73902T: Cran & Chrissie Dalgety | |||
| Game recent 2nd here and should dispute the finish from a handy enough marble. | |||
Eye catching effort first up from a spell by Millie Let Loose (10) last Friday night. Punched through a gap late in a good field and was strong. Better for it and this is a decent step back in grade, so would expect her to be stalking here and looking to have the final say.
Selections: 10-3-9-4-7
| 10. Millie Let Loose (10) J: John Morrison 64006T: Stuart Sutherland | |||
| Ran on when the gap came last week. Stats offer hope and she can boost exotics. | |||
Nice effort from Golden Line (4) here last week in a fresh state and will strip a fitter horse for it too. Blair Orange jumps in the bike today from a handy draw so a confident drive early should find them on the speed and out of trouble. Should prove very hard to catch.
Selections: 4-1-11-7-2
| 4. Golden Line (4) J: Blair Orange 771×5T: Sam Thornley | |||
| Caught the eye 1st-up 7 days ago and sure to be improved. Threat from close draw | |||
