Matt Markham gives his best in all nine races at Gore Harness on Sunday 21 June.
Southland warhorse Magic Sign (1) kicks off a new campaign here today and does so fresh up from a new stable too. Now with Craig Ferguson and a sharp Winton workout win last week has all eyes pointing in his direction for a big showing today. Ace draw is a huge plus and only cramps the odds further.

The reliability factor of Special Son (4) from the last two starts tips the scales just in his favour today over stablemate Classic Skye. Has been getting out and trotting and doing everything well and looks set to do the same here. Deserves a win and shouldn’t be too far away.
Selections: 4-2-7-9-8
4. Special Son (4) J: Nathan Williamson 7522T: Matthew Williamson
A horse heading back in the right direction now is Jaccka Elvis (3) with some really encouraging signs in the last couple of runs. Gets into a nice race today with a good draw to use and if able to find a good spot early then is going to be close enough to make the presence felt.
Selections: 3-6-8-5-7
3. Jaccka Elvis (3) J: Brent Barclay 46023T: Brett Gray
A monstrous victory at Addington last time out from He Aint Fakin (8) and had to be good to out-tough a pretty good one in Tetrick. That kind of form here would make him almost unbeatable, but he is still prone to the odd we mistake here and there so tread with some caution.
Selections: 8-7-6-2-3
8. He Aint Fakin (8) J: Brad Williamson p11p1T: Phil Williamson
Bit to learn still judging by the maiden win on debut, but there’s no doubting that Razorsharpmiki (1) has a serious motor to play with. Steps up in grade here which is never easy at start No.2, but from the ace draw gets a chance to be on the speed and hard to beat once again.
Selections: 1-5-7-4-3
1. Razorsharpmiki (1) J: Brent Barclay 1T: Gordon & Colin Lee
A lot to like about the last start effort of Schemeandream (2) and it would appear it is only a matter of time until a maiden victory unfolds. Nice draw over some key rivals here today and might look to make the most of that. A nice each way price on offer for a genuine winning chance.
Selections: 2-12-10-9-7
2. Schemeandream (2) J: Nathan Williamson 433T: Nathan Williamson
A statement of intent for the campaign ahead from Becky’s Girl (10) with her victory last time out. Boy, she was very good letting down to win nicely. Similar set up here, but should be better for the run and just needs to be close enough turning for home to play her part.
Selections: 10-4-3-11-7
10. Becky’s Girl (2) J: Brad Williamson d23x1T: Phil Williamson
An eye-catching effort first up for a while last time from The Dancer (6) and she’s certain to have improved off that run too. Nice barrier to work from and if she rolls forward and finds a good spot then she comes right into contention here at a very nice price.
Selections: 6-12-1-3-14
6. The Dancer (6) J: Matthew Williamson 1505T: Matthew Williamson
Unbelievable price on offer for First Light (1) here today given the recent efforts. She’s been racing well without a whole lot of luck and comes up with a decent barrier today that should have her tucked away on the markers and ready to strike. You could do a lot worse with your few gold coins than have an each way play on her here.
Selections: 1-5-8-7-6
