A late gallop last week in a very good field by Nellie Doyle (7) doesn’t look great but when you factor in she looked set to run in the money, she might find herself as the dominant force in tonight’s assignment. Small field suits and at her best she goes close.

A cracking second last time out from Treacherous Dreams (4) looks like it will stack up really well here tonight. Good draw to work from and if they take bad luck out of the equation he might find the front and not look back.

The manners are still nowhere near where they’ll need to be but natural ability might be enough for Flying Dreams (6) to get the job done here. Clearly going to win plenty of races and this is a much easier assignment than many of the recent ones.

A very strong second on Cup Day behind Taketheplunge was followed up by Heaven’s Mark (5) running a luckless 11th last week at Addington from a tricky draw. Much better set up here and likely to roll forward and look to take control of this. Going well enough to win.

He’s still putting it all together and often hurting himself but King Charles (8) has the ability to win a maiden and plenty more. Big run last time to only just miss. Can’t afford a mistake here, but best in the race and should deliver.

Nice wee chance here for Sandy Shore (1) to find some winning form. She’s been knocking around in some strong fields of late and lands an ace draw to work from here with a top junior in the bike. On the markers will be key and she can win.

Every challenge laid down in front of former top pacer He Aint Fakin (4) since he arrived in NZ and turned to trotting has been handled with aplomb. A frenetic win on Cup Day might have taken a bit of recovering from but a repeat will deliver another win here.

Held in high regard by the Stonewall team, Sonofamistery (2) might lack the form line of a good horse but has the motor of one. Drops back from some very strong fields tonight and from the good draw should be primed to make a strong push for victory.

There’s a 20m handicap to overcome, but Double Jeopardy (16) should make light work of that with his good stand start manners. Big win on Show Day and did it with real ease. Will have to get around them at some point but can do that and be too good.

A model of consistency without a whole lot of luck lately Almighty (7) can repay the faithful with a winning run here. Good manners and a real genuine will to win will put her in the right spot throughout and with that little bit of luck can deliver another victory.
