The inside draw here should play a big role in the chances of Cyamate (1). With a bit of early speed gets all the options early on how to play it and you’d imagine the goal will be to stay as close to the speed as possible. Better than some of the recent form and can win this.

Needs to get it all together, but you know the night Shred N Burn (5) does that a maiden win is going to come straight away. Looks to have the speed to win plenty of races and this is a nice race tonight to make something happen. All eyes focused on early.

Miss Brabant (9) drops out of some really good recent races and does so with good form on the board too. Only niggly point here is the barrier draw, but with a bit of luck and a good tempo up in front will be piercing the gaps late and coming quickly.

There’s been plenty of chances lately for Cyclone Sala (2) but probably none better than this one. Does enough each week to keep the hook baited and often in way better fields than this. Looks tailormade for this and if another win is to come then this must be it.

Beautifully bred runner from the Purdon and Phelan barn, No More Dreaming (10) returns here after just the one career start last year. Sharpened up for this with a slick trial win and looks ready to run a race here. Early money on too which is always a good sign.

In terms of ability, nothing here will match Mad Mary (5). She’s shown at times she’s a pretty talented trotter with the ability to go through the grades but can often be her own worst enemy. Slides back into a grade tonight though where if she does everything right, they should really get the better of her.

Put a bit of a black mark on an otherwise good formline with a mistake last week, but everything prior from Rahm (8) had been very good. Cops a wide draw here to try and bounce back but is helped by scratchings to the inside. Might actually be just a little better than them.

In a really rich vein of form at the moment is Patrick Mahomes (7) and he can carry that on here, despite the depth of a very good field. Manners are good so the 15m handicap isn’t too much of a concern just needs to get into the first half of the field and he’ll be rolling home well.

In a short career, Secret Beach (5) has done a very good job and taken on some smart fields too. Last time out bettered Incentivise and the start prior to that was fourth behind Prince Lincoln. Nice wee slide back in grade here and looks a strong winning chance with all the scratchings.

Not a lot of luck last week when resuming for Arrigo (1) but gets a nice chance to atone here in the last of the night from a good draw. Has shown enough ability to win a few races comfortably and from here tonight looks set to be in all the right places to make a serious claim.
