Cliff Top Cutie (#6) was solid second up the straight on Tuesday. Slow start was costly here last week & that is the only thing that could stop her today.

Carrington Magic (#1) did well to finish third from a wide draw last Friday. The runner-up has won since. Recent box 1 winner with the early pace to hold her spot on the rail & lead throughout.

Bora Bora (#3) has been beaten by 2 Big Time Talea in his last three outings but one was exceptionally tight here a fortnight ago & Talea’s dominant wins to date have been up the straight. Swayed purely on price here.
Selections: 3-2-8-5
Big Time Potter (#4) is the fastest chaser in the race but has been win or bust to date. Closer draw should help. 2 Sister Shadow slipped at the start up the straight when fourth. Racing like a 305m win is within her grasp.

Big Time Rua (#7) is at remarkable opening odds again considering that she has beaten the favourite 8 Big Time Bora at her last two starts. Perhaps the move back out to box 8 can help a better beginning for Bora. Another price related top tip.

Big Time Bam (#5) has been a long time off the winners’ list but the signs are encouraging. Not a pretty watch for the short odds you get on him though.

Remove All Doubt (#3) ran to the line well when third in last Friday’s corresponding race. Looks a good chance to land closer to the pace this time.

Grande Vue Ace (#6) is a recent course & distance winner to further enhance her remarkable record in the River City. Second at group two level since on her home track at Addington.
Selections: 6-4-8-3
Big Time Brave (#3) stayed under 4 Boom Dynamite to beat him when they last met. Dynamite has been good in a hot series at Addington since. Both are required in the quadrella.

Big Time Meghan (#4) had her chance when second as the favourite last week but credit the winner who was the market mover. Deserves another win. 5 Big Time Carly was a close & encouraging second when fresh on a rain-affected track.

Jane’s Panama (#4) was leaned on by the winner in the early rush a week ago. Draw works out well for her tonight.
Selections: 4-6-5-3
(#8) had already downgraded before his handy third in c3. His slower starts shouldn’t be as costly in this class.
