Matt Markham gives his best in all races at Palmerston North Harness on Tuesday 31 March.
Yet another great effort from Run Blaze Run (1) here on Sunday to finish second and yet another opportunity here today to get an elusive victory on the board. Nice draw to use here and should be able to make the most of it. On the speed and hard to beat.
Selections: 1-6-5-4-11

Chased valiantly for second on Sunday and despite the second row draw, Iamthecaptainnow (9) looks a really strong winning chance today. Should punch through from the second line and be close enough to work into the race over the final lap and grab success.
Selections: 9-1-6-5-3
9. Iamthecaptainnow (9) J: Wilson House 61242T: Michael House
Charged through the line with a lot of venom here on Day One and with a little more luck here today, Baltic Star (8) should be really hard to beat. Draws the inside of the second row but follows out Santanna Mach who is likely to stay forward so a sweet trip on the markers looks on the cards.
Selections: 8-4-1-5-9
8. Baltic Star (8) J: Wilson House 35913T: Michael House
A nice wee each play here today on Major Moonshine (1). Should grab a sweet trip in the trail throughout behind I Can Too and with a cold shot at the top of the straight might be a little too quick for them. Going well and a another win would be no surprise.
Selections: 1-2-8-7-5
1. Major Moonshine (1) J: Emily Johnson 35216T: Allan Shutkowski
A 20m handicap here today doesn’t appear too much of an impose for Eagle Hanover (8). As a nine race winner she gets into this pretty well and if she can begin well and land in front of many of her backmark rivals then she’ll prove hard to beat.
Selections: 8-4-6-1-5
8. Eagle Hanover (3) J: Wilson House 12357T: Jay Abernethy
Expect a sharper version of Midnight Miki (7) here than Sunday. Was first up for a long time and will have taken benefit from the run. Quick back up is the only concern but if able to get onto the speed at some point then should be able to outstay his rivals.
Selections: 7-6-3-5-4
7. Midnight Miki (7) J: Andre Poutama 229×3T: Nathan Purdon
