Silver Shadow Stakes 2026 Tips, Predictions & Best Bets

The TAB has Silver Shadow Stakes tips and predictions for the Group 2 race at Randwick on Saturday.

Silver Shadow Stakes odds are available, where an even betting field is presented to punters, where the current favourite is paying $4.60.

Best Bet
#5 Bangkok Hottie @ $8.50

Our Silver Shadow Stakes tips are headlined by Bangkok Hottie, who is paying much better odds than expected after getting no luck fresh-up.

The 3YO filly by Too Darn Hot was caught during the run, and she still battled on to finish third against a tough field, so it’s an exceptional form guide for racing against her own sex on Saturday.

Barrier 11 isn’t ideal, but if she gets cover from out wide, she is good enough to power over the top of them, and given the odds, she can’t be left out of Silver Shadow Stakes predictions.

We expect her odds to firm on race day, so snap up the opening price before late money comes. She is often well-backed on race day, so don’t let the value go to waste.

Second run back. First-up after four months ran on from midfield; 3rd of 10 in a Midway Bm72 at this track on August 8 over 1100m, slow going 0.8 len behind Melanite with 55kg at $2.10. Previously second-up favourite; ran on from midfield and won by 1.4 len at Warwick Farm on April 15 over 1200m defeating Victorious Ruler carrying 58kg at $2.25. Comes here with a fitness edge and looks the value play.

#2 Pembrey @ $4.00

Consistency hasn’t been there for Pembrey, but she’s a talented daughter of Prague, and she can’t be overlooked as a winning hope.

She won at Rosehill two starts back before failing to fire in the Golden Slipper, but that was a messy race, and she will appreciate dropping to this company and facing a smaller field on Saturday.

Her recent trial win at Deagon should have her ready to go for the Tony Gollan stable, and the Queensland raider has every chance of winning at each-way odds. She is a speedster, and having James McDonald riding only adds to her appeal.

Her Silver Shadow Stakes odds have drifted, but punters get better value now.

Resuming. Finished off last campaign 14th of 16 at Rosehill in the G1 G Slipper March 21 over 1200m, soft track; 6 len behind Guest House carrying 54.5kg at $19. At her first start to post a big 5.5 len win. Eagle Farm 2yo Hcp February 14 over 1000m slow track defeating Oregon Coast carrying 56.5kg at $2.35. Resumes with the one trial win and had genuine excuses in the Golden Slipper.

#7 Global Goal @ $10.00

Global Goal won well on debut for Kiwi trainer John Sargent. The filly by Pinatubo scored at Wagga, and although it’s only provincial form, Sargent knows a thing or two about placing his fillies.

He has an exceptional record when moving his runners from provincials to city tracks, and he wouldn’t line her up unless he thinks she’s a winning hope.

Her recent trial placing at Rosehill is a good form guide, and because there isn’t much covering this field top to bottom, punters get value double-figure odds with the TAB, which are worth including for value.

Same Race Multi

Punters get juicy odds with our Silver Shadow Stakes SRM, which includes our three selected runners.

We have Bangkok Hottie Top 3, Pembrey Top 4, and Global Goal Top 5, which pays a generous $12 at the TAB. Those odds are exceptional, and punters get a good price for Bangkok Hottie Top 3 at $2.95.

She is one of our best value bets on the Randwick card, and we can’t see her letting punters down. We have her winning, so those odds for a Top 3 finish are worth snapping up.
