The form around KD Corona (4) heading into today looks superb for a race like this. Placed behind the talented Way Coola at Oamaru and runs in behind Redback Bob prior to that. Going well and deserves a winning turn and there’s a big chance of one coming today.

A superb trial victory at Ashburton last week from Eyes Of An Angel (7) who boosted a final 800m in better than 55 seconds and looked superb doing it. Can stay out of it early here and loop into it when she likes and she should run them off their feet.

With race fitness on her side, the scales might just tip in favour of Our Evie Rae (1) today. Especially if she can trot off the gate quickly and hold a forward position. More ability than most and on the markers and out of trouble she’s the one to beat here.

A really good effort on debut at Addington from Hope Philly (8) finishing not too far behind some good ones like Wat Fun, Suva Baby and Nella Keenan. Big drop back here and if she runs anywhere near to what she did that night then she should really be winning here.

A fair bit of scope and promise around Way Coola (4) who exited maidens at Oamaru in fine style. Seems a pretty sensible type and if away quickly here should trot onto the speed again and look to run them off their feet late.

Don’t think there’s anything in this race today that will match Arinitti (1) for speed. She’s been superb of late but doing it all off tricky draws and bad luck in running. With the ace today can get out and settle close and with a cold shot at them late can storm home at a price.

Great to see the very talented Secret Agent Man (4) back on track again after an injury. He’s a pretty serious horse and it’s going to be interesting to see how he comes back from a lengthy layoff. Public runs have been good and he might just be too good for them today.

A quick glance at the form of Jaccka Henry (3) tells the story here. A horse knocking on the door of another victory and from the good draw today he really gets his chance. Should punch out and be close enough to join in and have the final say.
