A couple of tidy runs from Zeus (4) since resuming from a short let up and the fitness levels should be reaching peak now. Much better draw to work from and if he can hold a forward position without doing a stack of work then he’s more than good enough to win this.

Has a wee issue with getting around the last bend, but once she straightens up Suzy Franco (5) can really sprint. This is the easiest assignment she’s faced to date and if she can get herself into a good spot then she looks awfully hard to beat here.

Really tidy effort last week from Alotoftrouble (1) and is in a good space at the moment. A chance to trot away and get handy to the speed again here and in a wide open trotting affair should take some beating today.

Went close to victory last week behind Miki’s Courage and Bronski (4) really deserves another winning turn. Racing super and from the good draw today should be close to the speed throughout and if they run along a bit then all the better for his chances.

Beaten by a couple of handy ones in both starts to the race so far, Bettabe Lou (4) has lost no admirers. Clearly better than everything else on both occasions, today looks the day for a breakthrough victory for the capable pacer.

He’s found himself in a good space of form at the moment and My Skatjie (10) should relish the drop back here today. Flying home from last in a very good Friday night field last week behind Joyride and if he can replicate that here then he’ll go pretty close once again.

Racing great at the moment and often in very good fields around some handy types is Bryce’s Meddle (6). Will relish this assignment today and if he gets a chance to put his rivals to the sword then expect him to take it and look to run them off their feet.

Back to form with an excellent effort here last time out, Chester Gold (10) is going to pick one up pretty quickly now and looks primed to perhaps make it today. Can sit off the speed and look to have the final say. Just needs a little bit of luck at the right time.

Some good work lately from Lord Mudrick (5) and he’s knocking on the door of another win. Nice chance here from another handy draw and if he lands on the speed and gets his own terms then they might not peg him back today.
