Second starter for James/Wellwood stable. On debut was keen and a bit green, blocked at the top of the straight and knocked around a little, but still finished a nice 2nd with a bit in the tank, beating some that are in this race. Draws barrier 1 so should get a sweet trip and hopefully with some improvement will be too good for them.
I’m taking on a pretty hot field here with plenty of chances, but I think the price represents good ew value. She has been going good behind some very handy horses. Almost got the chocolates behind Brave Spirit last start. The three starts before that have been running behind Tanganyika, Swaynesday & Twain. Inside barrier draw should see a nice soft run and can hopefully get some clear air in the straight and get a fair crack at them. $12 & $3.7
Leah Can Ya Hemi could probably hear all of us screaming this fella home from the BGP room, last start when he flashed home from home with the best sectionals of the race only managing third. We will get a good track again, a bit of extra ground and every chance to see this
