DAN

Addington, Race 10: It went huge last start to push hard out of the gate and did it easily in the end, She has been going nice since it moved down south. I expect it to blast out of the gates again like it did last week and be too good for them again!

SCANMAN

Addington, Race 9: Loves the trip with 4 of his 6 wins coming over this journey. Can leave the arm so even from the wide draw he could end up finding his way to the markers and from there should give a great sight.

MARKHAM
6 Kotare Kelso

Addington, Race 11: Had some of the best sectionals in the Harness 7000 two weeks ago and achieved those while coming from last and wide out on the track. HUGE drop back in grade this week from that race and good enough to roll to the front and dominate them here. Handy horse who finds the right race to get a win on the board.

GASSO
16 Mo’unga

Addington, Race 8: Massive run fresh up, last at the 400 and only half a length from winning with leaders going 55 last half! Will only improve off that’ Draw tricky but will enjoy a fast pace, look for him late to get over the top.

FITZY
5 Reklaws Dream

Addington, Race 1: Won’t get big odds but the way this Filly has been trailing I can’t see anything that should be threatening her in this field. Kick your night off with a multi-starter. Expect her to close a short priced fav and be winning. Bigger races in store for her this season I believe.

MATT
1 Belles Fate

Hastings, Race 2: Beat a number of these well on Day 1 of the Spring Carnival and going for a Hat Trick. The start before that smashed a maiden field, and before that was just beaten by Confetti who looks decent, and beat home He’s Lucid whose run 3rd in the Whaunganui Guineas since. Looks a nice horse and Ted tells me Robbie Patterson has a big opinion of it. Craig Grylls & Robbie Patterson combo. All stacks up!

DAN
6 Snazzytavi

Te Rapa (Friday), Race 6: A BGP favourite and she returns to the track where she got the last blessed bet of last season home, has won second up, 1/1 course distance 2/2 on the track untried on heavy but goes good on soft . I’m looking to get on the board for the first time this season and I hope she can do it for me!

KEMEYS
9 Kind Thoughts

Hastings, Race 9: We are going to take the favourite on and see if we can swamp it late. This horse was hampered when about to get stuck into its long sustained run on the first day of the carnival so the 9 on the form line means we get some tasty odds. It will be better second up over the mile and we need a good track to see her at her best. If she’s fit and can stay out of trouble punters might have all sorts of kind thoughts towards the bookies opening price.

TED
8 Levakia

Te Rapa (Friday), Race 3: She has had two starts for two seconds both at 1200m where she has run on strongly each time. Third up she steps out over 1400m on Friday and the other positive is the blinkers are going on. Hopefully she can get the job done.

GOAT
4 Amiinit

Riccarton, Race 1: Massive run last start and with a more economical passage will be very competitive.
