We see no reason why the Spurs won’t contest for a title again this season after coming up short against the Knicks in the NBA Finals earlier this year.
Victor Wembanyama is a freak of the sport, and he will only improve with more games under his belt. The Spurs have many young players with huge ceilings, including Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle.
Not many teams in the NBA have a roster as good as the Spurs, and we’re surprised that they’re not favourites to win. They sent the Thunder packing last year, and they made some of the Thunder players look second-rate, including Chet Holmgren.
There is a good chance of this team winning multiple NBA titles over the next five years, and the NBA Championship odds of $3.50 are much better than the $2.80 we would have been happy to take.
Betting on the Philadelphia 76ers takes a lot of courage. They’re a losing franchise, but they’ve gone all-in this season, and we’re hoping it pays off.
You don’t sign LeBron James and Jaylen Brown without hopes of winning the title, and if they remain healthy, they have enough talent to win the title. James isn’t getting any younger, but his leaderboard and consistency could be enough to get the job done.
Brown is one of the best two-way players in the NBA, and although we’re disappointed that he left the Celtics, he could make a big impact with the 76ers, who already have Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe.
It’s a seriously impressive roster, and although James has often struggled to win a championship when first joining a new team, we’re more excited about seeing Brown, Maxey, and Edgecombe combine for what could be a winning season.
The $12 odds are far too generous, and we expect them to shorten with NBA Championship odds 2026 markets in the coming weeks.
There is always a lack of respect for the Denver Nuggets, despite always making a deep run in the NBA playoffs.
Led by arguably the best player in the game, Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are a great bet at $26, and those odds could firm after just a couple of weeks into the season, as we predict the Nuggets to start well.
They signed DeMar DeRozan, which adds some depth to their bench, and he plays alongside the likes of Jamal Murray, Cameron Johnson, and Aaron Gordon, so the Nuggets have all the makings of a good year.
We expect the Nuggets to pay around $13 with NBA Championship odds, so we’re not leaving them out of our NBA Championship predictions at $26. It’s a generous price for a team that is almost guaranteed to make the playoffs.
