Don’t think there’s any argument that Awesome Choice (11) is the best horse in this race, but he’s also his own worst enemy at times. If he can keep the head down and do everything right here tonight he’ll win this and there’s enough extra on the price to have a play and find out.

Good progression from the first up run to the strong third last time out from Aldebaran D B (4) and with further improvement he looks a strong chance tonight. Needs to get away a little quicker, but is getting better and has most of these for ability.
Selections: 4-6-5-7-8

Third up from a spell tonight for Takethat (1) and he was much better last time out when finding the line well. Massive draw upgrade here and if able to hold up and take a forward position then he looks a strong winning chance in what is a wide open race.

You wouldn’t want to play cards with Pantani (9) because you’re never going to know what version is set to turn up. On ability alone he’s $1.10 and shortening in this field and to be fair if he’s ever going to win another race than this will be it. Just cross everything and hope for the best.

Not a whole lot of luck of late for Chanel Noire (7) but she’s still be rounding off her races brilliantly. This is a huge step down from what she has been racing with runs in behind Mediator and Nazare in the last few weeks. Just has to stalk the speed and should slingshot this field.

Jump and run approach likely to unfold here for Miki’s Moment (4) and if he can find the front and run them along a bit then he’s a big chance of just keeping on trucking and going very close in a grade he’s extremely competitive in.
