We have Golden Rose tips and predictions for the Group 1 1400m race at Rosehill on Saturday.
Golden Rose odds are out for one of the biggest age-group races in Australia, and it’s Golden Slipper winner Guest House favoured to win.

Guest House has been on the drift since opening at $2.20, but that price was too short. He should settle at around this price, and we’re happy to take the current odds for the Slipper winner.
He resumed with an impressive win over Blue Door, and that form could be franked earlier on the card. He’s a strong colt with a stud career beckoning, and he could snare a few more Group 1 races before he’s done.
The 3YO colt by Home Affairs has a good running action, and he used his professionalism to find the gap and sprint past a tidy field last start. There is more depth to this field on Saturday, which is expected, but he’s the runner they all need to get past.

Our Golden Rose predictions can’t leave out Warwoven, and he should find the lead and be tough to bet past.
Runners who find the lead and the rail at Rosehill always have a good chance to win. There is a significant bias at Rosehill this season, which isn’t ideal, but it’s the reality of racing at present.
It suits Warwoven, who has good natural speed, and his confidence levels received a big boost with a win last start. That is a good lead-up race for the Golden Rose, and Bjorn Baker knows how to train his fair share of age-group winners.
Money has come for him throughout the week, and it could be well-placed for a big run.
| 4. Warwoven (1) J: Rachel King 56.5kg 16×51 T: Bjorn Baker |
Under Focus has been solidly backed in two runs back from a spell, and although yet to win this preparation, he finished off nicely for third behind Warwoven and St Gotthard last time out.
That’s one of the better form guides for the Golden Rose, with many runners coming out of that Group 2 race. He had his chance to win, but he gets barrier 4 here, and he could track the speed and finish off best.
We rate him as the best double-figure chance, so he enters our Golden Rose tips to add some value in a race where the favourites could have their way.
| 9. Under Focus (4) J: Dylan Gibbons 56.5kg 13×63 T: Kris Lees |
Punters get value odds with our Golden Rose SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Guest House Top 2, Warwoven Top 3, and Under Focus Top 5, which pays $8.00 for our three-runner SRM.
We expect Guest House and Warwoven to finish in the money. They could start as the first two favourites in the market if money comes for Warwoven. Under Focus has Top 5 credentials, and he could boost payouts nicely with a good effort.
