Addington Harness Tips & Preview | Friday 12 June

Off the back of some nice trial work for the new stable, Carrera Hombre (7) was too bad to be true first up in the south two weeks ago. Prepared to let that one slide and give another chance because there’s no doubting there’s a lot of ability there. Best version wins this no stress.

When Nathan Williamson travels north to Addington, it always pays to sit up and take notice but when he brings a first start maiden like Cheer Up N Dance (7) then there’s a sure fire sign he’s got a lot of time for one. Trial form would suggest he’s pretty good and the short quote would say he’s winning first up.

Stepped out for the new stable here last week and gave his rivals a trotting lesson did Zoltan Boscik (7) but that’s the kind of form we’ve been expecting from him for quite a while now. The big question will be if he can go on with it or not. Tonight we find out. Should roll forward and give them all plenty to think about again.

Grabbed a really well deserved maiden win here two weeks ago did Crunched (9) and looks a horse with a bit ahead of him. Has a wide draw to contend with but the class factor should carry him a pretty long way and expect him to go close again.

It took a pretty smart performance from a talented trotter in Amistozo to better Dornish Hill (9) here a couple of weeks ago. But importantly he handled his first stand start experience beautifully and should really go on with it now. A confident drive tonight nets a confident result.

He’s had a busy build up toward tonight’s debut but there’s been a lot to like about the preparation of Mossdale Frank (2). He’s got better with each public run and looks a really quick maiden winner. From the good draw tonight he’s a big chance of going one-for-one despite the depth in a very good maiden field.

It’s hard not to be left impressed by what we’ve seen from Cherish Me (7) in her last three performances. Particularly her last start Ashburton demolition. Still not the complete product, but does have the wood on the majority of her rivals here in terms of brilliance. Should make it four-from-four.

Expecting sharp improvement from Renegade (8) after his tidy fresh up run at Ashburton. Not beaten far in a very good time and this sets up pretty well for him. A good beginning and he should be close enough to launch on them late and show his full talent.

Stepped up to some of the better three-year-olds of the age group at Ashburton from a wide draw and Seaside Croft (4) was excellent in fourth. Much better draw to work from here in a field that looks well within range. Don’t be surprised to see him go close.
