Warwick Farm Tips & Preview | Wednesday 20 May

Seven races make up the metropolitan program at Warwick Farm in Sydney’s west this Wednesday, May 20th.

Weather: Overcast, Rail: True and the track is rated in the Soft (7) at publish, so I’ve kept my eye out for horses that are tried and true with the sting out.

Scroll down for this week’s Warwick Farm tip sheet.

Warwick Farm Race 1
2 Olympian

Olympian has made six appearances at the races since debuting back in February, winning twice before a couple of credible efforts in black type company. This is one of the weaker tasks he’s been set recently and in peak order, can return to winning form.

Warwick Farm Race 2
2 Celtic Spy
Each Way

Celtic Spy finished more than six lengths off the pace of Paradoxium on debut in the Wyong Magic Millions race back in December but returned to action earlier this month with an improved performance to finish third, beaten less than a length here at Warwick Farm. With natural improvement, he holds an experience edge over most of Wednesday’s rivals and looks a touch of overs at a double figure price (at publish).

Warwick Farm Race 3
7 Hello Captain

We haven’t seen Hello Captain at the races in 2026, but he stamped himself as horse to following during his brief debut prep in the summer, only just denied on debut at Doomben before a dominant victory on the Sunshine Coast. With the benefit of a couple of trials under his belt and the booking of James McDonald, he looks to get plenty of ticks.

Warwick Farm Race 4
11 Superfabulistic
Tip of The Day

Superfabulistic has continued to improve with each run back from a break, but was still only just denied in each of her first three starts before recording a deserved victory over this route last time out. In peak order this week, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

Warwick Farm Race 5
8 So Suave

So Suave has been up and racing for some time now, but he has continued to turn in high quality performances and won over 2025m at Cranbourne three starts back before another near miss at Sandown last time. His latest performance when fifth, beaten just over a length in Saturday metro company on Golden Mile Day at Bendigo was full of merit, and a repeat of that performance in something like this would see him extremely tough to toss.

Warwick Farm Race 6
1 Glorious Moments

We haven’t seen Glorious Moments at the races since July, but he was faultless in two starts last time in, winning in dominant fashion at Canterbury at this point of his preparation and progressing to a more than four-length triumph in strong Saturday metro company. He’s had a handful of trials ahead of what looks an ideal campaign launchpad this week.

Warwick Farm Race 7
9 Pasadena
Each Way

Pasadena hit the line to break his maiden at Ladbrokes Geelong when resuming and made the successful transition to metro company when getting the job done again at Randwick-Kensington last time out. This is harder, but he’s open to further improvement and he gets into the race well under the conditions.
