Invercargill Harness Tips & Preview | Thursday 23 April

Yet to win a race, but there’s been a lot of merit in the work of Daisymerollin (2) of late and today’s assignment, despite taking on previous winners, looks an ideal one. A chance to trot straight onto the speed here from the unruly and not look back.
Selections: 2-9-6-8-4

Three really good runs to open the career for Treasure Chest (1) and a maiden win looks right at hand. Lands the ace draw today and will only be going in one direction at the start. On the speed, out of trouble and bowling along should be really hard to catch.
Selections: 1-9-11-2-3

Without all the luck in the world, Beaudiene Quick Step (2) hasn’t been bad since winning three starts ago. Today looks like an ideal opportunity though, gets a good draw in a small field and a sweet trip looks on offer with a good beginning. A nice run off the speed and should be too good.
Selections: 2-1-4-5-8

A nice wee step back in grade here today for Itsallaboutthemoney (9). Has been knocking around in some good fields of late and there’s been more bad than good. Needs a little Carter magic to make things happen but is well over the odds in this field and worth an each way play.
Selections: 9-10-12-4-8

Super win last time out at Addington in a very good field by Spiritinthesky (6) did a power of work and was still too tough for them. The small field here looks ideal, should be able to track the speed early and then work right into it and not look back. A good bet.
Selections: 6-1-2-4-7

A long way away from the track, but from an astute stable that will have the boxes ticked, Drummershavtime (2) is the interesting runner here. Last two runs were placings behind the very good Always Dreaming so finds a nice race to resume. Best might be a few starts away but still very competitive in this.
Selections: 2-1-8-6-10
