Really nice step up last week from Luvavici (7) into a very good field and was far from disgraced in fourth. Getting better all the time and looks really well placed here tonight given the manners seem very good. Can stalk the speed and wind into it late and dominate.

A little bit green here on Sunday on debut, Bacchus (9) lost the compass on the home bend but recovered well to charge back at them near the line and finish second. Might be better chasing from off the speed and gets that chance here tonight in what is a pretty good maiden field.

Nice trip on the markers last week granted, but He’s My Creation’s (7) effort was full of merit given the depth of that field. This one is nowhere near that and if the manners are there and a nice trip unfolds then should be a little too good for them.

Quality filly who will be keen to forget the trip up to Auckland where not much went right and All Of Me (7) gets a great chance to atone here. Back on Addington and from home base she’ll be feeling a lot more like herself and should simply have too much class for this field.

A bonus run in the grade for Sacetas (5) after last week’s impressive victory in a penalty free race. Clearly a horse who is going to go a wee way and this isn’t a huge difference in quality of opposition. On speed, or off it should be going close either way.

A really nice type resuming here in Sideshow Bruce (8). He’s a horse with a bit of a future in front of him and will have gained a lot from his last campaign where he dipped the toe in against the better ones. Fresh up tonight is the concern but should be ready to rock and roll judging by public runs to prepare.

Trending back in the right direction judging by last week’s good effort, Moonlite Blood (8) looks a good play here. Talented horse on his day and has just taken a bit of adjusting to the higher grades. Has real speed when needed and could sit off them and look to pounce in a very even field.

Beaten by a pretty handy one last week, Mostert (8) lost no admirers and went down fighting right to the line too. Wide draw here, but likely to look to roll forward and get onto the speed and if able to control things then becomes the horse to beat with the fitness and confidence levels high.

Great to have Marketplace (5) back on the track tonight as he begins his four-year-old campaign. A nice first assignment and good reports from the camp this week suggesting he’s ready to rock and roll. Might look to get onto the speed early here and if he does then he’s really hard to beat.

Back to her old tricks last time out with a gallop on the home bend, Eurostyle (8) did appear to still be travelling at the time. A nice rhythm early tonight and she’ll plop along behind them and then look to launch onto the speed at the right time and give them plenty to chase.
