Matt Markham gives his best in all races at Wyndham Harness on Sunday 29 March.
Another minor placing for Rockin Roman (7) during the week and another start closer to a well deserved win. Is going to pick one up at short notice and again finds a race that should be well within range here today. Just needs the right run to unfold.
Selections: 7-2-9-1-6

Building beautifully through this preparation after a long spell, Fiery Bandito (5) looks primed to get back into the winners’ circle. Huge run up at Addington last time out and the small field here today really plays into his hands. On speed and he’s hard to catch.
Selections: 5-6-3-1-2
5. Fiery Bandito (0) J: Kirstin Green 9×522T: Kirstin Green
Quite the impression created by Cruise Maguire (4) in the debut win a couple of weeks ago. Beat a couple of handy ones and looked very good doing it. Bright future ahead and in today’s small field looks set to lead and dominate them once again.
Selections: 4-5-3-2-1
4. Cruise Maguire (4) J: Brad Williamson 1T: Alister Black
The drums have been beating for a while about the prospects of Picasso (4) off the back of some strong workout and trial form. Debuts here in a good maiden field but expected to deliver a pretty telling debut victory if the noise out of Southland is to be proved correct.
Selections: 4-7-9-10-1
4. Picasso (4) J: Craig Ferguson T: Craig Ferguson
A wee slide back in grade for Racey Krusa (8) and it would come as no surprise to see a quick return to winning form. Should land a bit handier to the speed here and if able to even find the front then might just leave them all chasing late in the piece.
Selections: 8-7-6-2-9
8. Racey Krusa (1) J: Brent Barclay 11542T: Amber Hoffman
Really dour effort from On Ya Bike (2) last time out when third and he’s a horse on the way up based off that with three runs under the belt now. Key draw advantage on his main rivals today and if he finds the markers first and gets to control then he might be able to hold them all off.
Selections: 2-7-5-3-6
2. On Ya Bike (2) J: Carter Dalgety 233T: Cran & Chrissie Dalgety
A lot to like about the work of the old boy Franco Sinatra (6) of late and he is well in here again despite the big handicap. The 3200m should play right into his hands and he wouldn’t need to go much better than he has been to be having the final say here.
Selections: 6-3-5-2-4
6. Franco Sinatra (1) J: Carter Dalgety 38312T: Cran & Chrissie Dalgety
Tidy effort first up from a spell last time out by Treacherous Me (3) and she didn’t have all favours either. Better for the run and from the good draw looks set to roll forward and try and dominate this. Classy at her best and would be too good for them if she is.
Selections: 3-9-2-7-1
3. Treacherous Me (3) J: Nathan Williamson x84x3T: Nathan Williamson
She knuckled down like a good horse last week and won impressively and you’d think getting back to her own sex here today that Beach Day (11) would have no problems in repeating the effort. Just needs that little bit of luck but one of the stars of the field and looks hard to beat.
Selections: 11-12-8-7-4
11. Beach Day (11) J: Mark Hurrell 44761T: Craig Ferguson
He wants to do the odd thing wrong still but the ability of Always Be Batman (5) is carrying him through at the moment. Good work last time out and meets a similar field here so if he can land in a good spot then he’ll be one of them fighting out the finish without doubt.
Selections: 5-9-8-2-4
5. Always Be Batman (5) J: Hayden Douglas 46131T: Jeremy Douglas
