5 Big Time Tawny was a runner up to handy hounds in his last two starts & was solid again in a small field at Manawatu. Has beaten 6 Rockin’ Roger the last two times she has stepped out here. 2 Epic Wildman trialled well at Manukau on Sunday & has trialled down the straight.

Slow starts has seen 3 Groot’s Galaxy find traffic trouble more often than not. Clearly has ability. Straight track might suit him & he strikes the right field. 2 Mojito Dreams won a maiden here at the end of July but hasn’t raced since. Handy enough trial at Manawatu last week.
