Port Royal once again hosts the Bermuda Championship with the seventh staging featuring a strong field of Fall Series contenders with the tournament growing in stature after starting as an opposite field event.

Port Royal is a short, gettable course where the winning score is very much dictated to by the wind. The short length brings veterans into play with five of the six winners 30-plus.

Getting over the line is key for Rico Hoey but there is no questioning his form and his profile. Hoey has three Top 10 finishes in his last five starts and comes off a nice T-21. He leads the Tour in Ball Striking and GIR while he ranks 8th in Strokes Gained: Approach and Driving Accuracy. Finished T-12 at the Corrales this year.
Kevin Yu is the class of the field having won the Sanderson Farms Championship last year. He is playing well with three Top 20 finishes in his last four starts. He ranks 7th in Ball Striking, 15th in GIR and 18th in Birdie or Better. His 11th in the 2024 RSM Classic is a good guide.
We were oh-so-close with powerful Fin Sami Valimaki last week with a T-2 finish in Mexico. He again looks well suited. He ranks 11th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 18th in Strokes Gained: Approach. He has finished Top 8 in three of his last six tournaments.
Arguably the best value play on the board this week, four-time Korn Ferry Tour winner Ben Kohles gets a great opportunity to break through for his first PGA Tour win. His form has been mixed of late but he does have three Top 20 finishes in his last eight tournaments. He ranks 3rd in GIR, 4th in Driving Accuracy, 9th in Strokes Gained: Approach and 18th in Ball Striking.
Veteran Brandt Snedeker ran a race for us in Utah two starts back when finishing T-9 at 400-1 and he is an absolute player this week at a big price. He ranks 8th in Driving Accuracy, 9th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 20th in Scrambling. Love him as a Top 10/20 proposition.
