We rode Jake Knapp last week and he let nobody down with a T-3 finish in the 3M Open.
Knapp has nine Top 25s in his last 16 events with four Top 6 finishes. One of those was at the Rocket Classic three starts back, one of the key correlation tournaments. Knapp ranks 4th in Birdie or Better, 7th in Par 4 Scoring, 11th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 12th in Bogey Avoidance. Looks a great bet.
Crack Cornish putter Harry Hall looks a great play to win his second PGA Tour event. The flat-capped Hall ranks 2nd in Par 4 Scoring, 3rd in Birdie or Better, 3rd in Strokes Gained: Putting and 11th in Bogey Avoidance. He does his best work on Bermuda greens, which he gets here. His form has been super with seven straight Top 25 finishes before a T-28 at the Open Championship.
Driving Accuracy is so important here and Rico Hoey is one of the best drivers on Tour. Hoey ranks 2nd in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee and 13th in Driving Accuracy. He also leads the PGA Tour in GIR and ranks 12th in Proximity: 150-175 Yards. Finished Top 10 at the last two Barracuda Championships and the 2024 Rocket Classic. Finished T-22 on debut here last year.
The best value bet of the entire tournament is Ben Kohles, who should be bet not only to win but Top 10/20/40 as well. Kohles profiles as well as anyone. He ranks 3rd in Driving Accuracy, 3rd in GIR, 9th in Proximity 150-175 Yards, 13th in Par 4 Scoring and 15th in Bogey Avoidance. Finished Top 20 in two of his last three starts.
Paul Peterson has little name value on the PGA Tour but he nearly won the ISCO Championship three starts back and he leads the PGA Tour in Driving Accuracy. Ranks 7th in Par 4 Scoring. One of the better value roughies.
Three Germans tee it up and the value is outsider Thomas Rossenmuller, who ranks 7th in GIR and 11th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee.
Very keen on Rico Hoey this week and this is the best way to back him. He is super off the tee and stands out.
