No player this week comes close to profiling as beautifully as Bryson DeChambeau. He leads the LIV circuit in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee while he ranks 3rd in Birdies, 4th in Non-Fair Scoring and 6th in Long Approaches. Won in Korea and has been in the mix in six of the last seven LIV events. Was super charging home for T-10 in The Open.
Spaniard David Puig has as good a profile as anyone this week. He leads LIV in Long Approaches while he ranks 2nd in Birdies, 3rd in Non-Fairway Scoring and 5th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee. Finished T-11 here last year.
Sebastian Munoz has been around the Top 10 in most LIV events this year and profiles nicely again. He leads LIV in short approaches while he ranks 2nd in Non-Fairway Scoring, 9th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee and 9th in Long Approaches.
Tom McKibbin failed to make the cut at his home country Open Championship but was in nice form prior with Top 5 finishes in Dallas and Andalucia. Ranks 4th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, 5th in Non-Fairway Scoring and 8th in Proximity. Should be a big player.
South African Dean Burmester’s form has been mixed but he did make the cut at the Open Championship. Profiles nicely here though. Ranks 4th in short approaches, 6th in birds, 7th in proximity and long approaches and 10th in strokes gained: off the tee.
Bryson DeChambeau stands out as the top selection and Joaquin Niemann has been the most accomplished player on Tour.
