Length off the tee is a big advantage at Laguna with Jesper Svensson certainly taking advantage of his big hitting. This is, primarily though, a second-shot course so finding greens or performing well around them are the two paths to success.

Young Spanish bomber Angel Ayora looks extremely well suited to Laguna and I am expecting a big showing this week. Ranks 2nd in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, 9th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green and 12th in Driving Distance. Finished T-14 at Qatar in February. Has posted five Top 25 finishes in nine starts on the DP World Tour since coming up from the Challenge Tour.
If his form this year is any guide, John Parry is huge overs. He missed the cut at the Joburg Open but had a win, a runner-up and two more Top 25s since December last year. Ranks 5th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green and 12th in Scrambling. Looks an excellent win and Top 5 bet this week.
Few players this week mix the power and the touch that Wilco Nienaber does, making the big hitter an excellent Top 10 play. He ranks 3rd in Driving Distance, 6th in Strokes Gained: Around The Green and 7th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green. Won recently on the Challenge Tour.
