Trackside commentator Mark Rosanowski provides his tips for all 12 races at the Whanganui Greyhounds meeting on Tuesday 29 October, 2024.
Meets virtually the same field that she led throughout to win on debut from a similar trap.
Selections: 5-8-3-6
Justified strong support on debut when winning over 457m at Cambridge & is running out maiden nominations along with 6 Big Time Buzz which beat an easier field in a decent enough time on Friday.
Selections: 7-6-3-4
Was made to work hard to win in this grade at Cambridge after a very easy victory here. Is at cramped odds for a reason. Quaddie anchor.
Selections: 2-4-5-3
Dominant wins in this class here & at Cambridge. Has jumped poorly here to date which could open things up for 1 Big Time Kiwi that won well enough fresh-up in this grade heading home the improving 3 Amelia Ate It.
Selections: 2-1-3-6
Better beginning led to a career-best win on Friday. Not always that good early but is clearly the one to beat.
Selections: 8-3-4-1
Easy win from box 8 on Friday & looks better suited from this draw hence the microscopic odds.
Selections: 2-6-4-7
Has impressed this course & distance in the past which might give him a rare opportunity to topple the champion stayer 8 Chief Dribble.
Selections: 3-8-7-4
Looked sharp winning a c2 sprint at Addington. Broke 30 seconds here last December. Needs her best beginning so she can use the track she needs. 8 Remove All Doubt looks the best local hope but has drawn immediately to the outside of a wide runner that has early speed.
Selections: 3-8-7-4
Stunned the champion He’s All Go on Friday with a searing 29.82s clock. Wins again if she’s in that sort of mood.
Selections: 1-6-2-4
Did well to finish third after an early bump on the straight track. Maiden win here was in a solid time. 7 Opawa Tara can help him in the early rush & she is a live chance herself in this field.
Selections: 8-7-6-3
Second at Cambridge behind a dog that has won again. Good record here although has been indifferent at the start. 1 Miss Rangiora was hassled across the top when handy on Friday. Forgive that but she has been costly in last two outings. 8 Opawa Richard downgrades. Quaddie blowout.
Selections: 3-1-8-2
Found herself in front despite a moderate opening sectional on Friday. Might get away with it again. 4 Big Time Brandy is up in class but her early speed is the key in this field. Might need 1 Big Time Maestro in the quadrella too.
Selections: 3-4-1-8
