Ran third in a qualifying trial over 457m here in July showing early speed & holding out 3 Big Time Almighty which has now run second three times in four attempts & might be next best again today.

Ran on strongly for third on the grass straight last week. Hasn’t won since a best of day 25.59s here on July 9. Would space them in that sort of form.

Three tenacious placings since winning in this class last month. 8 Two Patches Jet hasn’t been on this track for a while but he’s racing like it might suit at the moment. Quaddie cover.

Recent downgrader that is lengths better than most in this field. Very unlucky two starts back when he was looking likely in decent c2 company & although finishing last down the straight on Wednesday he wasn’t beaten far. 4 Opawa Tara is a quality chaser that has found her way into an ideal field for her fresh up. Winner should come from these two.

Was surprisingly run down over 313m on the grass but have to give credit to the winner. Won very well here the time before in the same class so expecting the same today.

Only beaten once here in six appearances & there was a lot to like about her second at Hatrick on Friday. 8 Fool Me Once won there & was super at Cambridge the time before. Should be a keen contest with early support coming for the 3 Brockie’s Luck off the back of a tidy trial at Hatrick.

Was clipped from behind on the home bend when finishing third in the Boys’ Sprint Final on Friday from a wide draw. Prefers this track & is happier closer in but he did win in the pink four starts back. 3 Big Time Lime was third in the Girls’ race on Friday & defeated Ivan on this track the last time they met.

Back to c4 after a determined win from this trap. Looks up to the task. 4 Big Time Aly returns to her favourite track where she won in a slashing time four starts ago. Each way value.

Trialed quickly solo prior to Friday’s resumption where she finished fourth after a slow start. Won her only go here over 457m when a maiden. This looks made for her.

Gets grade relief here & there has been merit in his efforts against some of the best. Doesn’t win as often as you’d expect from a group one runner-up but this is a prime opportunity.

Up in class but a repeat of the 21.30s from the same draw last Tuesday probably yields the same result in an open affair. Each way play at the opening quote of $7.
