The NFL season kicked off last week and it was a weekend for favourites with 13 of 16 elects saluting and only one genuine outsider in New England winning off the stick.
Another close slate is on the cards this week with no double digit favourites and six games with a line of a field goal or smaller. Buckle up … Week 2 action is coming.

Carolina +6 (v LA Chargers)

New York Giants +1.5 (v Washington)

Cincinnati +5.5 (at Kansas City)
The Bengals are the best bet of Week 2 with Week 1 faves of 6 or more off a loss going 19-6 against the spread in Week 2 while favourites playing their second straight home game to start the season are 5-16 against the number.
The Titans were in command against the Bears in Week 1 before two diabolical throws cost them. The underdog is 26-11-2 against the spread when two 0-1 teams meet in Week 2 and the Jets have a poor record as a fave.
