We’ve made some big changes to make your TAB experience as smooth as possible. Take a look around and see what’s new.
You’ll need to log back in to your app or online at tab.co.nz to look around, though. Your existing details will be all you need, but if you’ve forgotten your password feel free to use the reset link on the login screen.
New features await
There’s a new set of features available at your fingertips. Below are some new features we think you’ll enjoy.
Bonus Cash: Your Bonus, but Better
Unlike regular Bonus Bets, Bonus Cash gives you the flexibility to choose how you want to spend your bonuses. For example, if you have a $100 Bonus Balance, you can spend it any way you want! From two $50 bets to 100 $1 bets, it’s up to you.
You can use Bonus Cash on any of our products, excluding promotions and tote bets, but it is best used on regular bet types such as Fixed Win/Place, standard exotics and standard multis. To place a bet using Bonus Cash, simply select Bonus Cash, enter your stake, and confirm the bet.
If you back a winner, your Bonus Cash winnings will be paid into your regular cash balance, excluding your original stake amount. For example, a bet on a $5 winner using $10 in Bonus Cash will result in a payout of $40. Check out this ‘How-to’ video for more on Bonus Cash.
The New Same Game Multi is here
Our old Same Game Multi (SGM) was good, but this one is great! You can add as many eligible markets to your betslip as you like, confirm and place the bet all in one section. You can see odds calculating on the screen and get alerts when selected markets aren’t eligible.
Once you’ve added your selections to the betslip, build the ultimate multi by combining one or more SGMs with other bets!

Introducing Same Race Multi
Bigger odds, better flexibility, the Same Race Multi (SRM) is here. It’s like a Same Game Multi, but for racing. This is a bet type where you can make multiple selections for runners (more than one) to either win, or finish in the top 2, 3, or 4 placings in the race.

Blended Betting
This bet type allows you to select more than one runner as a potential winner of a race. Blended bets offer reduced odds as the chance of winning goes up.
Blackbook is here
You can easily add runners to your Blackbook by using the search bar or add them from pending or resulted betslips.
It’s up to you how and when you get notified about your Blackbook runners. Choose to get an alert an hour or 24 hours before, or when Fixed Odds are available. Make sure the notifications suit you by checking the selections in ‘Settings’ above your Blackbook runners.

Winsurance is now called Money Back Odds
You will continue to be able to insure your odds with Money Back Odds.
Other promotions that continue to be on offer for racing lovers

- Express Payout: Get paid early: winning are paid on interim dividends
- Dead Heat Payout: Did your runner dead heat for first? Get paid in full.
Promotions has a new home
Information on all of our promotions can now be found in the dedicated promotions section, available here. While most of our promotions will be what you’re used to, there are a few changes for the better, including:
Odds Surge: Bigger Odds
In addition to the usual Bonus Back on selected races, we’ll be activating Odds Surge in ALL RACES at selected meetings, so you can get bigger odds! Odds will look better than ever. You can place a bet of up to $100 at the bigger odds and, if successful, you’ll get paid in cash.
Multi Buster is now called Mega Multi
Multi Buster has been renamed Mega Multi and if you’re a fan of this promotion, there’s a couple of changes that you’ll need to know. If you qualify for a bonus, you’ll be paid in Bonus Cash rather than a Bonus Bet. Unlike regular Bonus Bets, Bonus Cash gives you the flexibility to choose how you want to spend your bonuses. Instead of waiting until the next day, your Bonus Cash will be in your account soon after your first eligible multi has resulted.
