Westport Race 5: Slightly over the odds here. A horse that clearly saves his best for his home track with 3 wins and 3 placings from 8 starts. Will only need some luck in transit to give this a big fright.
Westport Race 7: Quite possibly the best horse to come off the Coast in the past decade this one. Huge win at Methven in a very similar grade and beat home three horses who have since won with the runner up on that occasion still finishing second twice as well. Leading driver in the bike, very fast and should have the final say.
Westport Race 8: This will be his third run from the Negus barn. Last two runs have been very good hitting the line hard. Looks ready to strike at nice odds.
Westport Race 6: The red flashing light was on last start as she did plenty of work and fought hard for 2nd behind a smart one at Addington. Expected to take fitness improvement from that and likes the grass. Unruly draw might actually work in her favour here as it looks like she could get a decent cart through. Opened $9 and was straight into $7.50 showing owner confidence.
