This mare has been an absolute model of consistency over the last three months. Last week she did plenty of work in the running and battled on well for fourth, and the start prior at Reefton was very good, making ground off a handicap which is hard to do. Looks primed to run another big race in this.
It’s been a while since he found the winners’ circle but he’s on a drop back this week from taking on Pinseeker, Rakero Rocket and co last week where he finished fourth running the fastest last 800m of the race coming three and four wide and was the fastest last 200m of the race too. He’s low-flying and finally finds the right race to put the hoof back in the till.
Was stiff last start when getting no run up the straight. Prior form good. Drawn the ace, so should get a cosy trip along the markers and, if the gaps appear late, she can be zooming through them at a good price.
Good stepper and from 1 over the short course, she’s mapped to get a good run. Forgive last start just getting caught in the open. Her two runs prior were very good. A mare in form!
