Hawera, Race 4: Heading down to Hawera, outstanding race track down there in race four he’s found a horse called Risque Ruler. Now this horse is first up but it’s trialled well and showing enough at the jump outs.
Flemington, Race 5: He hopes this one’s going to settle first on the post. Got good form behind Growing Empire who ran second in the Manikato last Friday night, so he reckons this horse will be too good for them on Saturday.
Hawera, Race 8: This horse is trialled up well and it’s very good fresh so I’m sure Ted is going to get back on the board with this one.
Hawera, Race 3: This horse ran third in the Whanganui Guineas a few weeks ago behind Read about it. They’re all talking about this horse is a Derby contender. The start before that, He’s Lucid, was rocketing home behind Belle’s Fate, who went on to win two more after that.
Hawera, Race 3: You might think that I’m smoking it, but I’m going to take on the favourite here, Mustang Valley. I’m hoping we get a soft track, but if we do get the heavy, that is going to be the complicating factor. So we’re going to take this one each way. But this horse is extremely good at the mile. It’s third up, if we can overcome the wide barrier draw I think we could actually knock off Mustang Valley.
