Warwick Farm Tips & Preview | Wednesday 6 May

Warwick Farm in Sydney’s west hosts seven of the best this Wednesday, May 6th.

Read on for our Warwick Farm tip sheet.

Warwick Farm Race 1
1 Graffiti Tycoon

Graffiti Tycoon finished second, beaten just over half a length here at Warwick Farm last month before only just being denied again at Canterbury. Fitter third-up, this is his chance to go one better.

Warwick Farm R1 – Asahi Super Dry Maiden Hcp
Final Race time:
2nd
1. Graffiti Tycoon (2)
J: Zac Lloyd 59kg
22T: Tom Charlton

Warwick Farm Race 2
3 Celtic Spy

We haven’t seen Celtic Spy at the races since December and his only start so far was a credible enough run behind Paradoxium in the Wyong Magic Millions race. He’s trialled up nicely ahead of what looks to be a substantially weaker task this week.

Warwick Farm R2 – Drinkwise Maiden Plate
Final Race time:
3rd
3. Celtic Spy (1)
J: Regan Bayliss 56kg
5xT: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott

Warwick Farm Race 3
7 Sumeria

Sumeria steps out for the Ciaron Maher yard following a couple of decent trial performances. Partnered by James McDonald and from an ideal barrier this week, I think she can hit the ground running.

7. Sumeria (4)

Warwick Farm Race 4
6 Against The Law

Against The Law is yet to strike in three runs back this time, but he has continued to improve with each and gave a decent sight at Canterbury last time out. He takes his place in this contest in peak order and from the low draw this week, I think he’ll get his chance.

Warwick Farm R4 – Catanach’s Jewellers Hcp (Bm72)
Final Race time:
3rd
6. Against The Law (3)
J: Zac Lloyd 57kg

Warwick Farm Race 5
13 Superfabulistic

Superfabulistic has only made five appearances at the races since debuting, but she has stamped herself as one to follow by breaking her maiden and placing a further three times, finding form around credible metro competition. Having improved with each of three runs back from a break, she steps out this week in peak order, the mile looks to suit and she gets into the race well under the conditions.

Warwick Farm R5 – Hyland Race Colours Hcp (Bm72)
Final Race time:
1st
13. Superfabulistic (4)
J: Rachel King 54.5kg

Warwick Farm Race 6
5 Supermassive
Tip of The Day

Supermassive has hardly turned in a poor performance since debuting, but his fresh effort to get up over 125-m and in BM64 company at Canterbury suggested he’s returned a better horse this time. He strips fitter for that run, Timmy Clark sticks and dropping a couple of kgs in the weights, he’s my best bet on the program.

Warwick Farm R6 – Exceedance @ Vinery Stud Hcp (Bm72)
Final Race time:
5th
5. Supermassive (6)
J: Tim Clark 59.5kg

Warwick Farm Race 7
10 Blitzgal
Each Way

Having debuted with a dominant performance to win over 1400m at Rosehill early last month, Blitzgal was sent off a short-priced favourite at Canterbury two weeks ago but ultimately failed to make an impact. Given how good she was at her first start, I am happy to forgive that latest effort and with improved fitness this week, and luck in the run from a wide alley, I think she can bounce back at healthy odds.

Warwick Farm R7 – Tab Hcp (Bm72)

10. Blitzgal (9)
J: Kerrin Mcevoy 58kg
15T: Chris Waller
