Lovely return to racing from Incentivise (2) a couple of weeks ago and should be able to keep the run going up here in the north for the next few weeks with many of the heavy hitters away. Nice draw to use here and should be in a good spot throughout and hard to beat.

Wee step back in grade here for Sharp N Smooth (8) and think she can make the most of it too. Traditionally very hard for non winners to beat the race winners, even off the 30m handicap and if she can ping the tape and be handy enough then she’s a major player at a nice each way quote.

With the form on the board and some good early gate speed Another Collect (7) kind of picks himself here. Should roll forward early and look to take control of this and with own terms in front would be very hard to beat in what is a very even field.

Did all but win last week did Donegal Hill (7) but might have to wait any longer than tonight to go one better. Trotting really well at the moment and good enough to make own luck in this field. Good manners again and he’s right in play.

Excellent return to racing to deliver a promising win here last time out from Mhai Jackie Do (7) and that might just be the start of a good few months. Gets in here well against horse who are yet to salute and even from the wide draw should be a major player.

In terms of pure ability, none here probably match Franco Ronaldo (9) but he hasn’t quite got the full ringcraft yet to make him a really serious horse. Mobile should really help the cause and if he was to trot his way onto the speed then he’d be the horse to beat.

After a good win two starts back, Time For Change (9) was desperately unlucky here two weeks ago. Will need a little more good fortune today to grab a win but without doubt if the chance presents then she’ll be there to take it.

Couple of defeats in the last couple of starts for Illicit Love (8) but back on a better handicap tonight he should be able to flex once again. Has a really high ceiling and if he can get rolling early and get onto the top end then he’ll be too good for this field.

A maiden win still beckons Go Jimmy Cassidy (7) but it’s only a matter of if and not when it unfolds. Wide draw here doesn’t help but the small field does and if Carter Dalgety can plot the perfect path then he should break through tonight.
