Good enough to take on some rather smart fields last campaign, Train Station (5) resumes today from a strike rate barn who will have all the right boxes ticked. Not a big field, so plenty of options but with a run close to his best he should be hard to beat.

Some really nice work lately from Major Burns (4) and another win doesn’t look too far off. Massive step back in grade for today’s assignment and from a handy draw should be up and on the speed and keeping them honest right throughout.

With the runs on the board and plenty of them, Rakaturbo (1) gets another golden chance to break maidens today. 28 starts, 14 times in the money, but no win. Comes up with the ace draw and likely to try and make the most of it. A great each way bet at a price.

In terms of raw speed, The Will (6) would have most covered here. But the feet don’t always go where they should. Only needs to do everything right and there’s been enough in some of the runs up in Canterbury to suggest she’s a winning chance today.

One last chance for Carrera Hombre (4) today. At times has shown glimpses of brilliance and looked a horse who could win through the grades, but often disappoints. Hanging on the change in scenery working some magic and the best version turning up here.

A busy start to the career of Cheer Up N Dance (5) and after winning impressively on debut at Addington has been in three very good fields since. Fields stronger than this including behind Song Of Seas and Mattie Nevin. Not disgraced either and a great bet to end the day.
