Eagle Farm Tips are in focus this Saturday, with 10 races scheduled.
Sunny weather should produce a Good track, while the rail is out just 0.5m. The track conditions should give most runners a fair opportunity, although the early races will still provide the best guide.
The speed map and early tempo will be important around the expansive Eagle Farm circuit. Our race analysis assesses the key runners, main winning chances and best betting opportunities across the card.

ANGEL LADDER (5) resumes after two encouraging trials and appears well suited by the conditions of this race.
The Ciaron Maher-trained mare matched motors with Steady Ready in her first trial before winning her latest hit-out and defeating Stradbroke Handicap winner Spicy Martini.
She has a strong record over this course and distance, having won consecutive races here, including one in this class last preparation.
Tahlia Fenlon should be able to use the inside barrier and position her close to the speed.

MOULIN MISS (4) should be suited returning to 1000m after weakening late over 1110m at Doomben.
The Tony Gollan-trained mare contested the lead with Let’sfacethemusic before finishing fourth, beaten 2.12 lengths.
She was also competitive two starts ago over this course and distance, overcoming a difficult run to win by a narrow margin.
Her Eagle Farm record is sound, with four quinella finishes from six starts over 1000m.
She drops in weight and is likely to lead for Emily Lang.

CHILLAXING (2) has been racing consistently and looks suited by the extra time between runs.
The Tony Gollan-trained gelding won narrowly over this course and distance last start after working home strongly and defeating several of these rivals.
He had earlier shown his toughness at Doomben, winning over 2000m three starts ago.
The wide barrier creates some concern, but Daniel Moor should be able to work across and settle him in a forward position.

THATS ARCHIES GIRL (7) is now fourth-up and has been racing consistently this preparation.
The Nick Keal-trained mare recorded the fastest final 200m of the day when finishing fourth, beaten 1.56 lengths, over 1350m at Doomben.
She had placed in consecutive races at Toowoomba and Doomben before that effort.
The bigger Eagle Farm circuit should suit her finishing style. Jai Williams’ 2kg claim is another positive.

MIRRA IMPACT (4) has continued to race well since resuming for Corey & Kylie Geran.
The son of Lonhro won first-up at Toowoomba before racing three-wide for much of his latest run over a mile at Doomben.
He still fought on well to finish fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, and should now be ready for 1800m.
He has previously performed well over 1900m at Canterbury, finishing only 1.38 lengths from the winner.
Gary Geran should be able to find a suitable midfield position.

PRECISE STAR (7) has won all three starts since joining Tony Gollan and now gets another suitable opportunity.
The Zoustar gelding was previously with Chris Waller and had not won in seven starts before moving north.
He has since won narrowly first-up, led throughout at the Gold Coast for a 3.95-length victory and then dominated over a mile at Ipswich by four lengths.
Barrier 1 is ideal, and Bella Youngberry’s 3kg claim should allow her to give him an economical run.

FUKUBANA (1) produced a strong first-up performance over an unsuitable 1110m at Doomben.
The Matt Dunn-trained gelding settled last before recording the fastest final 400m of the meeting and finishing second, beaten 1.28 lengths, behind Let’sfacethemusic.
He should take improvement from that run and has won both of his previous second-up races in Brisbane.
There appears to be limited early speed, so Anna Roper’s 1.5kg claim should assist him in settling within striking distance.

BRINDAVAN (6) returned with a strong win over 1350m at Doomben and should be competitive again.
The Tony Gollan-trained gelding produced the fastest final 400m of the race and defeated his rivals by three-quarters of a length.
He should improve with that run and has a relevant second-up reference, having won his first Australian start at that stage of his preparation.
He rises in class but drops 4kg to 55kg, which helps offset the challenge.

MARIA CLARA (12) has been racing well and was impressive when winning over this distance last start.
The Tony & Maddy Sears-trained filly had been held up after being impeded and shuffled back over 1000m two starts ago. Once clear, she closed strongly to finish third, beaten just under a length.
She then raced three-wide last start and still finished strongly to win by just under a length.
Mark Du Plessis was impressed enough with that performance to put his hand up to ride her during next year’s Queensland Winter Carnival.
She carries 54kg and should be able to settle prominently.

The Rob Heathcote-trained mare had trialled well before producing a sharp turn of foot on race day to win by 2.45 lengths.
She should improve second-up and has previously won over this course and distance.
This is stronger than last week’s midweek race, but the 52kg impost is a significant advantage.
