French Open 2026 | Men’s Day 3 Tips & Preview

We’ve had to wait a few days but will finally get a chance to see the world number 1 in action. You won’t want to miss the start as his battle against Tabur is unlikely to last very long. Bublik v Struff looks an enticing clash on paper and don’t be quick to make down Medvedev as a winner as he has a terrible record in 1st Round matches at the French Open.

Jannik Sinner
vs
Clement Tabur
Tuesday
Under 25.5 games ($1.87)

We have seen Sinner completely dominate men’s tennis since Alcaraz went down injured and there will be no stopping him in Paris. Has won his last 29 matches an claimed 5 consecutive Masters Series titles – Miami, Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome!!! Has lost only 1 of the last 22 sets he has contested and Tabur will not go close to winning a set. In fact, I will be surprised if he wins more than two games in a single set.
Best Bet: Under 25.5 games ($1.87)

Adam Walton
vs
Daniil Medvedev
Tuesday
Walton To Win A Set – YES ($2.85)

This could be a trickier matchup than meets the eye for Medvedev. The H2H reads 1-1 with Walton beating Medvedev in Cincinnati last year. Moreover, Walton made the 2nd Round here a year ago a pushed Rublev to two tiebreakers in a straight sets loss. Medvedev’s form on clay leading into the tournament has exceeded expectations but history suggests he cannot be trusted in Paris having lost in the opening round here in 6 of his prior 8 appearances. Walton to win a set is over the odds.
Best Bet: Walton To Win A Set – YES ($2.85)

Alexander Bublik
vs
Jan-Lennard Struff
Tuesday
Struff +5.5 ($1.80) & Struff WIN ($3.70)

Bublik has been installed as a form favourite but his fans/followers should tread carefully here. The H2H in his series reads 2-0 in Struff’s favour with the German also having won both prior clashes on clay. They met in the 2nd Round here two years ago with Struff winning convincingly in straight sets (6-2 6-2 6-3). The pair have locked horns twice already this season with Bublik winning both meetings. They were on fast hard courts and the red dirt will limit the effectiveness of Bublik’s prominent pattern of play – serve plus one and follow it into the net. Struff is a bet!
Best Bet: Struff +5.5 ($1.80)
Value: Struff WIN ($3.70)

Alexandre Muller
vs
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Tuesday
Muller To Win A Set – YES ($1.73)

It was not that long ago that Tsitsipas was a set away from winning the French Open. Sadly, the former French Open finalist has turned into a shadow of his former self and is playing with zero confidence. His matches are dominated by constant back-and-forth with his father (coach) in the grandstand and it is cringeworthy to watch. The Greek may hold a 3-0 advantage in this series but Muller will have home ground advantage and the French crowd will play a part here. Muller took the opening set off Tsitsipas in their clash at the US Open last year and regardless of his recent form, he just needs target the Tsitsipas backhand relentlessly throughout the match to find success. He will be winning at least one set.
Best Bet: Muller To Win A Set – YES ($1.73)
