3 Donna Anne Billy lacks the early speed of some in this but she has been posting black book placings. 6 Pure Precision was very impressive winning here on debut. Finished a place ahead of DAB at Manawatu on Tuesday.

2 Chief Logger was hampered more than once when tasting defeat for the first time a fortnight ago. Drawing the other side of the 3 dog helps. Hadn’t raced for a month prior. 5 Last Say jumped from a maiden sprint win here into a very strong c1/2 457m race at Manawatu. His winning time a fortnight ago suggests that he’s a decent hope in this.

5 Big Time Lime was a very fast winner when last presented here three starts back. Useful runs at Manawatu since but appears better suited to this track these days.

3 Space Conspiracy was unlucky in her last two starts so downgrades. 4 Logger For Life was dragged down from behind when on the pace last start. Nice field with the fresh-faced 5 Fergie’s Girl jumping another class.
