7 Pushing Buttons defied the market drift down the straight track to remain unbeaten after three starts. Good enough time here last Friday & looks capable of faster. 4 Big Time Grande has slipped all the way back to c1. Not far away last week despite only beating one home. Quaddie cover.

5 Cliff Top Vinnie downgrades & is back up to 520m after powering to the lure in a sprint last Friday when he was checked mid-race. Needs early luck from the middle draw but everything else stacks up well.

4 Big Time Lime was disappointing in the sprint final last Friday as was 8 Big Time Mahi but they will both find this easier. 7 Big Time Dixie looks the each way value after posting a competitive time winning a c4.

7 Big Time Brave put in a brave fourth in the group one Wanganui Cup. Back to a c4. Should lead & win.

2 Fear To Tread was checked out of contention when challenging at the first bend in the Wanganui Cup. Will need to withstand early pressure to beat the runner-up in that group one 8 Boom Dynamite.

5 Big Time Messi clocked the fastest time on this track for months when winning the feature sprint a week ago. Should go on with it. 4 Logger For Life is a high quality dog that hasn’t raced since March 2024. Trialled very well last Friday.

3 All Over Rover furthered his impressive record on this track a week back. Can run faster & might have too, to hold out 7 More Magic who finished third at group one level last Friday.

5 Cephalopod is seeking his first win on this track at attempt 14 but most misses have been over more ground. Followed his close second here last week with a third of four down the straight but he was less than a length from the winner.

3 Fire Warning is a promising dog still on the up. Had a dog cross in his face last week & that could happen again as he’s not the quickest into stride. Still hard to tip against in this field.

6 Cliff Top Banger’s condition gave out late in his first run for a month. Fitter tonight so could lead all the way.
