Trackside commentator Mark Rosanowski provides his tips for all 11 races at the Palmerston North Greyhounds meeting on Tuesday 11 March, 2025.
Hampered early when fifth behind 5 Goldstar Hunter & 6 Goldstar Dozer at Addington. Beat them both home on this track three starts back. Likes the rail.
Selections: 4-5-3-7
Right on song with a big win in a small field here last week. Quadrella anchor.
Selections: 4-7-2-5
Little luck in recent outings at Hatrick. Has broken 26 seconds here so just needs a kinder run which could come here. 8 Go Cooper was good late when fourth here following early bother. Quaddie back-up.
Selections: 4-8-3-5
Downgrades after a close fourth when fresh. Only concern is that there could be downward pressure again in this race. 6 opawa Tara could benefit from that at handy odds.
Selections: 2-6-4-5
Grading special as she drops back to c3 after placing in a c4/5 race last Tuesday. It’s still a good field but she can handle it with her early speed.
Selections: 7-4-5-8
Is the current yardstick of the locals on this track but he is used to be drawing closer to the rail so he must get it right at the start.
Selections: 4-5-6-2
Was dragged down mid-race when fourth of four in a straight c5. Spare boxes around him give him the narrow nod over 3 Big Time Nando.
Selections: 5-3-7-8
Was tightened onto the rail in the early rush a week ago. Downgrades & the map plots a smoother course for him today. 8 Go Tilly was unlucky mid-race at Manukau after a solid second here. 7 Big Time Aly offers quaddie value back to her favourite track.
Selections: 3-8-7-2
Good front-running win here beating another couple of handy youngsters one of which has won since. This is harder but she looks up to it.
Selections: 7-3-6-5
Game win in this class fresh-up down the straight track. Draw gives him the advantage over 7 Thrilling Muse who was very good in defeat here last week.
Selections: 3-7-4-5
Unlucky when just unable to cross at the first bend at Hatrick on Friday. Is far better than reverse criteria c1 suggests.
Selections: 7-5-4-2
