Not sighted since winning here in this grade on New Year’s Eve. Notoriously slow starter but the straight line suits. 7 Go Luna was fourth in a stronger c2 field on December 31 & will also relish the return to this track.

Ran down 3 Big Time Moony in the corresponding race a fortnight ago. Not known for winning out of turn but no reason why he can’t repeat. Need both in the quadrella.

Strong finisher didn’t quite claim the winner last time but it was a solid second & he did run past today’s favourite 8 Run Away Blue half-way through the race. 7 Goldstar Jasper effectively drops two grades & his first run here three starts back had merit.

Chased a form dog home at Manawatu after doing the same here. Gets the narrow nod in a strong & open field. 3 Bow Anna won in a quick time here the last time she visited. Never looked at home down at Addington but she was handy when she was dragged down from behind there a week ago. Value.

Beat a few of the same rivals a fortnight ago when denied by the track record-holder who is absent today.

Handy throughout when third of five in her first race for two months. Fitter today.

Doesn’t win often but he’s easily the most accomplished in a straight line in this field.

Has been racing well over 520m since winning here four starts back. 7 Big Time Slim was surprisingly run down on his favourite track at Manawatu. Usually pays a dividend here too. Quaddie include.

Downgrades after running into fourth at Cambridge. Huge late run to get up & score in this class here four starts ago. 4 Big Time Nico is probably down on his best form right now but should be included on his favourite surface.
