Was jostled out of a good spot by the winner last Friday but still got to within a nose of 7 Big Time Iggy.

Led for a long way when resuming. Fitter for that & could stretch this field at handy each way odds.
Selections: 3-6-2-5
Races are well spaced so it’s hard to get a line on him. Had his chance to win a reverse criteria race at Manawatu but it was at least a glimpse of what he can still produce in this grade. Hard to back him at the short odds though.

Hung in for a long way when fifth in the group one NZ Breeders Stakes. Solid second when last sighted on this track four starts back & is probably an improved dog now. She’ll have to be to beat 5 Goldstar Hogan & 3 Opawa Jordan.

Took an awkward step out of the traps last Friday when favourite in a c4 race then ran up onto heels at the first bend. Capable of much better at the start & has won c5 fields before. 8 Big Time Cortez beat Space four starts back & has been good in open class to date. Each way value.

Fast starter that has been plagued by wide draws in c5. Will appreciate the downgrade & the better box.
Selections: 2-6-5-4
Was hassled out of a handy position at Manawatu. Hasn’t been back here since a personal best win after months away from the track. Downgrades & looks dangerous in this line-up if she can shrug off 3 Big Time Zola early.

Wasn’t away as well as usual then dived for the rail when third of five at Manawatu. Reliable starter on this track so should be leading this field from the low draw.

Was jostled in the midfield off box 4. Better box tonight & is drawn under the right dog to be able to reel off one of her quick early sectionals.
Selections: 2-3-4-8
Black book fourth against c4 sprinters here was followed by a handy third in c3 after she had already downgraded. Will appreciate the drop into this company although 7 Goldstar Colson is racing well.
Selections: 6-7-2-3
Probably still short of her best after a trial, an abandoned race & a run down the straight track on Wednesday but she downgrades & should only be challenged by 3 Laddu Rose who effectively drops two classes for this.
