Was five lengths behind 8 You Sassy Minx when third down the straight on Tuesday but she has run this track the better of the two to date. 6 Cliff Top Trixie beat Anna two starts back & has the fastest time in this field but that run is an anomaly in her short career. Odds worth the risk?

Has the most ability in this field but he isn’t the bravest when in traffic. 8 Big Time Ultra drops enormously in class & is fresh. Wide draw is the only knock on him. 1 Mystic Luna beat five of the same rivals here last Friday then repeated the placing on the grass straight. Is at generous place odds by comparison to some.

Downgrades & drops in distance. Not often the best beginner at this starting point but with any early luck she’s hard to contain. 1 Cliff Top Delta is also back in class & was hampered at the first & final bends last Friday when not far away.

Posted his third sub 30 second time when beating a small field here a week ago. 8 Goldstar Pearl is having her first 520m start here from a tricky trap. Fast wins at Cambridge & Manawatu recently & stormed through the line down the straight midweek. Keep safe in exotics.

Too slick for her rivals last week & should repeat although she is drawn wider than is ideal. 3 Big Time Kenzie followed her solid win here with a front-running second at Cambridge. As the market suggests she looks the only obvious danger to the favourite.

Led for a long way when resuming. That was a step up from her trial & she should be even better tonight.

Broke 30 seconds again when backed in from long odds to win a c3/4. This is harder of course but a similar performance probably takes this too. Odds look generous again. 4 Brockie’s Luck drops in class. Clear winning prospect but he hasn’t been at his best for a bit.

Came from behind 2 Big Time Axel to beat him in a tidy time here a fortnight back. He’s not as good at Manawatu where he missed after a slow start & first bend bother. Over the odds on opening. 4 Big Time Mariah was dragged down when leading here two starts back then led for a fair way at Manawatu.

Broke 30 seconds for the first time when she last raced here before Christmas. Two misses since are easily excused so looks to be the value in this. 6 Fool Me Once won the Waikato Cup two starts back then needed the experience on the grass straight track on Tuesday.

Her effort for second when a heavily backed favourite was OK but the winner was huge. Will be better for that run.

Just a fair fifth on face value but the winner was in his face racing across the top. Meets an even field from a better trap. Each way play in an open affair. 6 Black Malt has the most upside in the field & is at backable odds.

Has been costly to punters throughout her career to date but she is the dog to beat in this field unless 3 Big Time Risk can make a better beginning.
