Keen railer ran second in a decent time at Manawatu on Tuesday. His best effort on this track was when he was last here four starts back. Tricky field to open premier night.

Has looked handy at Addington to date. Big run expected first up on this track. 7 Beautiful Baloo trialed impressively in 30.13s last Friday. Railer drawn to his outside is the concern.

Sharp sprinter resuming. Trialed well enough in 17.58s last week. Short enough in the market.

Has won four from five here posting slick times. Gets the narrow nod on his local track over the impressive visitors 3 Romantic Rebel, a past fast winner here, & 7 Xisco Bale which trialed in a slick 30.13s here last Friday.

Brought an impressive formline north & delivered a fast placing behind a dog that has been heavily backed to win a group one tonight. 3 Rock It Rapper posted two career best wins prior to an interrupted run in a group one heat. Each way play.

Racing with confidence winning the faster of two heats for this. Should get a clean trip early.

Jumped last in his first look here & was hampered for a good way so did well to run third. That was only his second defeat in 13 starts. Can begin better. 3 Hadwin Bale impressed leading throughout in his first crack at the track although was a fraction slower than 2 Big Time Atlas. As the market suggests the winner should come from this trio.

Fast c4 win matching 2 He’s All Go on the night a fortnight back then was a solid third in a heat for this after being cut off from box 5. Should get a cosy run & he can run the sectionals to take advantage. 6 Fear To Tread set the time standard when winning a heat from this trap. Will have to be as good again as it’s a fantastic field.

Just missed making the group one final when fifth & he gets a better draw to work with tonight.

Is the benchmark stayer with two group ones in the bank this year & is on a winning streak of seven including the faster of two heats for this. 5 Grande Vue Ace is the defending champion & won the other heat. She beat the Chief in a group two here in September so is a genuine threat on this circuit.

Was costly when fifth here four starts back but his three prior wins on this track were all against top company.

Downgrades after a close & unlucky fifth last Friday. Not the quickest early as a rule though. 2 Abbey Road does have early zip so is worth the risk at juicy odds.
