The Victorian country town town of Seymour will come alive this Sunday with the Listed Seymour Cup set to headline a massive ten race program.
With a total prize pool of $200k on offer, the mile feature will see a full field face the judge and a fine day is expected.
The rail will be in the true position and the track is currently rated a good 4.

Markdel kicks off his campaign and looks nicely placed to get his maiden win on the board.
The son of Snitzel has shown good ability in his four runs to date and was unlucky not to have won at Bendigo back in May.
He then stepped out at Flemington where he produced a solid effort to go down by less than a length in what has proven to be a strong form race.
Given a good rev up in a recent jump out win on the Caulfield Heath, he looks ready to go and he’s drawn to get the right run under Jye McNeil.
Jammin Jimmy resumes.
Placed in both career starts, the Jimmy Creed gelding looks to have plenty of upside.
Making his debut over 1300m on the Hillside, he got back and was always wide but hit the strongly to finish second.
His following outing he stepped up to 1400m on the Lakeside and enjoyed a lovely run but just couldn’t reel in the top two.
He comes here ready to go off three recent jump outs and was strong through the line without any pressure in his most recent heat over 1000m.
Damian Lane will do the steering for Mitchell Freedman and if he can find cover early, he’ll be strong late.
Olive Baguette returns to the races.
The son of Spieth has shown good natural talent in trials and jump outs but things haven’t gone to plan in two race starts.
Slowly away on debut over 1000m at the Valley, he settled back at the tail and charged late down the outside to claim fourth.
Sent for a break he then kicked off over 1200m at Pakenham where he pressed forward and looked the winner 200m out but was just collared late.
Given time to mature he comes here off two very pleasing jump outs and with luck from the draw, should prove hard to beat.
Express Guard has been solid in two runs to date and looks ideally placed here up to the mile.
Prepared by Anthony and Sam Freedman, the son of Alabama Express was strong through the line over 1400m on debut, finishing on the heels of the placegetters.
He just ran into trouble in the early part of the straight last start at Bendigo but finished off strongly once clear.
He looks to have plenty of upside and gets the advantage of the inside draw.
Sea Mist comes off a courageous first up run at Tatura.
Off the outside gate the Matt Laurie trained mare was posted four deep throughout the 1000m event and still hit the line strongly to finish fourth.
Only lightly raced having had the six starts, she’s shown nice ability but hasn’t had the best of luck.
She gets the inside draw here and a senior rider back in the saddle with Harry Coffey to do the steering.
Ten Deep returns to the races.
The Irish import just had the two runs in her homeland before making her way down under and she was quick to make a big impression here.
Kicking off in a Mornington maiden she took up the running but was nailed right on the line.
With fitness under her belt she proved far too good at her next outing, recording a dominant six length win over this course and distance and went on to make it back to back victories before a well earned break.
Only lightly raced, she looks very progressive and is ready to go off two solid jump outs.
Linda Meech knows her well and will do the steering for Peter Moody and Kath Coleman.
Akicita returns to the races and has been gelded since we last saw him on raceday.
The lightly raced son of Grunt kicked off career in style with a dominant victory at Pakenham before heading to town where he finished a close second to subsequent group one winner, Southport Tycoon.
Sent the paddock, he returned in March but incurred a ban after bleeding from both nostrils.
He comes here off three recent jump outs, his latest he could not have been more impressive as he cruised through the line under a hold to win his heat easily.
He’s set to receive all the favours from gate three and if he produces his best, he’ll be too good for them.
Moor Mumm has finished off strongly at her past two outings down the Flemington straight and looks nicely placed here out to 1400m.
She was solid through the line after settling near the tail over 1100m two runs back and last time, in BM78 grade she was very strong late.
The daughter of Astern will appreciate dropping back in grade and the way she’s been hitting the line suggests she’ll relish the rise in trip.
The inside draw will see her afforded a cosy run throughout and if the gaps appear, she’ll be right there at the finish.
Jimmy The Bear has been racing well and presents here hard fit.
The Jimmy Creed gelding powered home from the back over 1700m at Caulfield in the Heatherlie two runs back and last time, down to 1400m, he worked home nicely into fourth behind Another Wil.
He looks well placed back up to the mile and does race particularly well over this trip.
Billy Egan has enjoyed good success on the gelding, he stays aboard and with luck from the draw, he’ll be right in this.
Jackand hasn’t been far away in three runs back off a short break and looks ready to peak.
He had nowhere to go at Geelong two runs back and went to the line under a hold, and last start, he charged home from the tail to go down in the photo finish for the placings.
He drops back in grade and the rise to 2000m looks ideal.
Rhys McLeod was aboard last start, he stays in the saddle and from gate four is sure to afford him every chance.
