Australian Minjee Lee is a two-time major winner and they are great guides as one was a US Open and the other was the Evian Championship, staged in France. She leads the LPGA in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, as Scheffler did in the men prior to winning, while she also leads the Tour in Strokes Gained: Approach. Lee has been mixing form but should be well suited.
Xiyu Lin
Xiyu Lin has been so close so often with three major Top 10s in the last four seasons and has failed to get over the line but like Xander in Tokyo, this could be a breakthrough event for Lin. She has finished Top 13 in three of the last four US Opens, so game should suit. Her outstanding game around the green puts her right in the mix whee she ranks 7th in Strokes Gained: Around The Green and 9th in Scrambling.
Patty Tavatanakit
Patty is back! The popular Patty Tavatanakit won the Chevron in her debut season on the LPGA but since then her form fell away badly as she lost control of her swing. A win in the Honda LPGA Thailand though on February though showed she was back and her form has held with three Top 12 finishes in her last five starts. Ranks 5th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green and 5th in Strokes Gained: Around The Green.
Peiyun Chien
Taiwanese veteran Chien Peiyun is the best of the real rough ones. She ranks 6th in Strokes Gained: Approach and 9th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green. Comes off a T-7 in the Evian, a great push for here.
