Nine races will be run and won at Morphettville this Saturday headlined by the running of the Group 3 Behemoth Stakes.
Formally run as the Spring Stakes, the feature sprint was renamed in 2023, in honour of the three time Group One winner, who made it back to back victories in this event.
The rail will be out for the entire circuit and the track is currently rated a soft 6.

Prepared at Ballarat by Henry Dwyer, the four year old has shown good ability and he looks a very progressive staying type.
He does have the wide alley to contend with but if he can settle within striking distance and find cover early, he’ll be right in this.

He was never in hunt when resuming over 1100m.
After blowing the start he basically followed them around but straight up to the mile last time, he jumped away clean and despite sitting three deep throughout, showed a strong kick in the straight to score comfortably by just over two lengths.
He strips fitter again and with is set to enjoy a cosy run in transit from the inside draw.
Jake Toeroek has just had the one ride on the gelding for one win and will go back in the saddle looking to maintain that perfect record.
Blushing Tycoon hasn’t been far away in recent runs and will appreciate the drop back in grade.
Prepared at Cranbourne by the Busuttin / Young team, the Written Tycoon gelding was strong to the line over 2250m here in BM78 company two runs back.
Last start over 2000m he was again solid over the final stages, holding his ground to finish fourth.
He’s hard fit and should find this a touch easier than what he’s been contesting.
