Warwick Farm Tips & Preview | Wednesday September 2

Warwick Farm hosts Sydney’s midweek metropolitan program on September 2nd, and seven races are on the program.

Check out our Warwick Farm Tip Sheet below.

Warwick Farm Race 1
1 Blessed Eagle

Blessed Eagle showed ability at the trials prior to debuting before hitting the line to win his only start so far, right here at Warwick Farm. While this is a rise in class, he has plenty of upside and can go on with it.

Warwick Farm Race 2
12 Sing Your Song

Sing Your Song only just missed on debut at Randwick-Kensington in April and was immediately tipped out, while she returned to action to fill the minors over 1200m at Canterbury last month. Having been back to the trials since her latest effort, James McDonald rides and the horse can begin her journey through the grades.

Warwick Farm Race 3
1 Appeared

Appeared ended his debut preparation in Ireland with a maiden victory, picking up where he left off when debuting in Australia to win over 1880m at Newcastle last month. Stripping fitter and getting further out in trip, he’ll take plenty of beating again.

Warwick Farm Race 4
1 Mazis
Each Way

Mazis has been a model of consistency through 11 starts since debuting and returned to action with a nice performance to fill the minors behind the talented Mr Miller a fortnight ago. He strips fitter, will relish the rise in trip and doesn’t meet a horse of that ability this time.

Warwick Farm Race 5
11 Queen’s Gamble
Tip of The Day

Queen’s Gamble was only just denied in a pair of sprints at Canterbury first and second up before breaking her maiden in dominant fashion over 1300m here at Warwick Farm. In peak condition, this is a great opportunity for her to go on with it, and she is my best bet on the program.

Warwick Farm R5 – Farnan @ Vinery Stud Hcp (Bm72)

Warwick Farm Race 6
3 Cavalry

We haven’t seen Cavalry at the races since April, but he was outstanding last time in, recording a couple of nice victories at Newcastle before only just missing in Saturday metro company at Flemington. Having had the benefit of a trial ahead of this week’s return, he can hit the ground running.

Warwick Farm Race 7
7 Manukau

Having turned in some fine performances during her autumn prep, winning a race not dissimilar to this one most notably, Manukau dusted off the cobwebs with a credible effort to finish on the placegetters’ heels here a fortnight ago. With natural improvement, she can build on a strong second up record.
