At just 32 years-of-age Arnold Allen still has plenty of years left to achieve his dream of being a UFC champion and he gets a chance to climb back into the top five after a tough period in recent times.
He comes into this main event with just one win from his last four fights but the quality of his opponent can not be understated.
All three of those losses in this period have needed the judges to declare a winner against Max Holloway, Movsar Evloev and Jean Silva.
Costa entered the UFC in 2023 and lost two of his first three fights in the biggest promotion in the world.
Since then, he has won six straight fights including three first round finishes and a fight of the night performance against Julian Erosa.
This is a high level fight between two hungry opponents and whilst I am struggling to pick a winner in the head to head market I do think it will go the full five rounds.

He won his first three fight by first round knockout but then lost three consecutive fights to put his career in jeopardy.

Daniel Santos lost his first fight in the UFC but has since won four fights in a row, two by KO/TKO.
He too had a long lay off of almost two years and has beaten two Asian fighters since his return.
I’m expecting a fast paced contest with all styles of MMA being employed but I’m siding with the younger fighter to get his hand raised.

It was that same punch that earned him back to back first round finishes to kick start his UFC career but he suffered his first pro MMA loss via decision to end 2025.
Juan Diaz is a 27 year old Mexican fighter who has tasted defeat just once in his 17 pro career fights.
He secured a UFC contract through DWCS with a spinning back elbow in October last year and makes his debut in the UFC on Sunday.
A very capable grappler when needed, Diaz has both youth and experience on his side and that is why I believe he can get the win as an underdog.
