2024 NFL Tips & Preview | Week 17

We are two weeks out from the playoffs and with the NFL delving into Christmas Day for the first time, we have a long week of action featuring two fantastic Christmas Day matchups, a Boxing Day clash, three Saturday games, the usual Sunday slate and a cracking Monday Night Football game between the Lions and 49ers.

Four Line Bets To Play

Pittsburgh +2.5 (v Kansas City)
The Steelers are an outstanding 35-13 against the spread as a single digit underdog under Mike Tomlin while they are 24-12 against the number as an underdog off a loss.

Seattle -3.5 (at Chicago)
Chicago cover at just 38% off a loss and just 37% when an underdog while Seattle cover at 60% off a loss.

Green Bay +1.5 (at Minnesota)
Teams who have won at least 83% of games are 9-26-1 against the spread in division matchups in December/January.

Miami -6.5 (at Cleveland)
Miami are 31-16 against the spread against teams with a losing record and with the Browns a horrid 3-12, the Dolphins can put Cleveland to the sword.

Best Underdog
Atlanta @ $2.75 (at Washington)

Retread coaches when at home cover at just 42% at home and just 38.1% when they are favoured.

Top Totals

Over 46.5 Baltimore-Houston
The Ravens have been a huge over team this year with 12 of their 15 this season going over the total while the Texans have topped 24 in four of the five games this season Nico Collins has been their leading receiver.

Under 50 Denver-Cincinnati
Denver go under at just under 60% since 2015 so are currently in the under autobet category.

Under 40.5 NY Giants-Indianapolis
The under is 54-27 in Giants games since 2020 while it is 10-5 this year.

Detroit -3.5 (at San Francisco)
The 49ers have covered at just 41% against non-division opponents while the Lions need to keep on winning to keep in the mix for the No.1 seed.

Redzone Early Multi
Under 40.5 NY Giants-Indianapolis/Dallas +9.5/Carolina +8($7.04)

The Giants-Colts total is listed among the best totals of the week. Happy to be with Dallas with Jalen Hurts potentially out for the Eagles and the Cowboys winning their last two. Carolina have covered six of their last seven.

Redzone Late Multi
Green Bay +1.5/Miami -6.5 ($3.80)

Both the Packers and Dolphins are listed among the best bets of the week.

Top TD Play
Nico Collins

Tank Dell went down hurt and age is catching up with Joe Mixon so expect Nico Collins to feature even more than typical against a Ravens team that can be vulnerable to the pass. Collins has five touchdowns in his last seven games. He has nine-plus targets in three of his last four.

TD Multi
Gus Edwards TD/James Conner TD/Bijan Robinson TD/Jahmyr Gibbs TD

Edwards has four TDs the last five weeks and comes off his best performance for the Chargers where he scored twice. Conner has four TDs the last three weeks. Robinson has 10 touchdowns in his last 10 games. Gibbs has been a machine this year with 15 touchdowns.
