Another eight races have been assembled on the Sunshine Coast this Wednesday.
Fine weather is expected with the track rated a Good 4, while the rail remains out 9m across the circuit.

Alpha Bravo on top in a difficult race to start the day. The colt by Better Than Ready was runner-up in his first two starts in Brisbane during his maiden prep, before stepping up sharply to Group 3 level in the Ken Russell Memorial where he finished towards the tail.
Interesting setup for Sofala, who gets out out to 1200m first-up coming off two solid place efforts over shorter. The daughter of So You Think resumed at Ipswich over 1100m last month, leading them up the straight where she simply found one better over her final few strides. She put forth a similar effort back over 100m shorter here on the Sunny Coast last week, overcoming a slow start to run third to Arisphere.
Tyndrum Gold is an overseas import trained by Annabel Neasham that presents rock-hard fit fourth-up. Only lightly-raced for a five-year-old, the son of Muhaarar showed significant improvement to find the money over the mile on the Poly surface last start, simply failing to reel in the winner on a leader-bias day.
This is a step back in class for Muschialli after tackling a BM78 at Doomben just over a week ago. The six-year-old by Better Than Ready found excuses that day, caught wide throughout and finishing midfield beaten 3.5 lengths in the end. His prior efforts were solid though, notably placing at Doomben behind smart horses like Brereton and Jayanthi. In light with the claim and just needing a touch of luck from out wide, he’ll be one of the hardest to beat with the right run.
We only saw this daughter of Dundeel briefly during the autumn when she overcame a slow start to finish second at Bathurst, before going on to tackle a tougher race at Rosehill where she was always a long way back. This is her first look at a dry track, and she’s already shown she’s capable of handling 1400m fresh. On the back of a couple of solid trials, she rates highly with the claim put to good use.
Glowlight looks ready to win again for Matthew Dunn. The five-year-old Nicconi mare has found the winner’s stall only once in 14 starts, finally shedding the maiden tag three back at Doomben where she finished strongly over the top off a wide gate. She was equally strong to the line off a four-week break at Ipswich last start, and is open to further improvement on less of a turnaround this time.
Miss Emma has another wide gate to contend with, but her best is certainly good enough to give this a shake. Chris Waller’s mare came bounding home down the outside to miss out only narrowly here over the track and distance a fortnight ago, overcoming a slow start to make up big ground in the finish. She was competing off a five-week break that day, so this looks a more winnable race with added fitness on her side.
Spin Doctor has drawn a nice gate for his first look at 1800m. Matthew Hoysted’s four-year-old was up sharply in trip last start at Grafton, seen giving good chase over the final furlong where he just found one better in the end. That effort should have topped him off nicely and helped his conditioning, so this this does look a winnable race for him with the blinkers going back on.
